They are also children
Gifted students have many differences than “normal”/average students. They need their teachers’ and parents’ care/interest. These students shouldn’t be alone with their problems for they have a high IQ score because we should not forget that they are also children. Yes, they may have mature thoughtful however their emotional developments probably are not equal their cognitive abilities.

Of course, we should wait until they have an enormous problem because they should learn to live by doing. Some based experiences are so important, they grow as confident persons. However, It’s not mean that we will never assistance them. We should be together with them however we should give a chance for doing wrong (It may a small wrong. Not dangerous wrong). I hope my words can really understandable (Please read it again)

They have talents but they don’t have to be a Leonardo Da Vinci or Nicola Tesla
A gifted child is not an inventor/deviser. What?
Any child may have capacity to be an inventor/deviser. Gifted students may have more capacity to be an inventor/deviser than others. That’s all. So, we should not have too much expectations from our gifted students/children. We just should assistance them for their talents. They must receive training according to their capacities. Only according to their capacities! All children can be realized/actualized themselves. They just need to opportunities.

Always love!
Parents have to love their kids. Any child won’t be valuable. Because all children are already very valuable. Love is not for success. Always love! To be loved is your child’s right. Whatever children do, they can never be deprived of love.

Who are twice exceptional students?
Gifted students may have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Learning Disabilities (LD). It is harder to identify them than others (only gifted or only ADHD or only LD). “Twice-exceptionality is not two exceptionality. So, it’s a special case.

What are their problems?
These disabilities (ADHD, LD, OCD, etc.) can make it difficult for them to use their talents. For example, some students may have high mathematical talents/skills but they may be unsuccessful in math exams because of attention deficit, forgetfulness, inability to focus, etc. They may not be able to focus fully on the lesson, deliver to their homework on time. These students may not be able to fully express their talents. They may not be good at friend relationships. Sometimes they can be perfect. Sometimes they can be incompatible/alone.

They can fail in complex tasks. Their teachers can assign “simple/not much complex and not-easy” tasks them. Their teachers should not assign them very easy tasks because they can understand why and be sad. Their all skills (strengths and weakness) should be developed. SWOT analysis is so well for this purpose.

They are sensitive/precision. Keep in mind: These kids are very sensitive/precision. By and large, Their teachers or parents can’t understand them. In generally, nobody can notice their exceptionalities/differences. They can be supposed as a smart-aleck/wiseacre because of their verbal abilities. we need to develop special strategies. They may have serious emotional problems. But they can hide their serious emotional problems because of they have high intelligence. As a teacher, we have to teach them to self-regulated/directed skills.
